Haven started my wedding photography journey in 2016, this was my first full season, as a wedding photographer. Last year I captured some lovely weddings, at stunning locations, which gave me a small portfolio of work to build my website. To be honest I was overwhelmed with the response, and could have not have imagined 15 couples would confirm bookings with me for 2017. Anyone that knows me and my photography, would know I adore sunsets. There is something you can’t beat about that golden light and nature performing. This is why my first wedding season come to a close very fittingly, photographing newlyweds during a nice Autumn sunset, on Southsea Beach.
I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings this year at many locations. I photographed a childhood friend’s wedding at Pevensey and Westham Church, which is the church next to my primary school. I then photographed my past rugby coaches wedding at Horsted Place in Sussex, which was also where one of my best friend’s wedding took place 3 months prior. I photographed my first weddings in Dorset at Sopley Mill and Smedmore House, which despite very British Weather were very lovely venues.
I have put together a collection of my personal favourite photographs from the memories I have captured over 2017. The blog has been a pleasure to put together and I can’t wait to pick up my camera for my first wedding in 2018.
